     implications: Professor Hojo's experiments had a number of side effects: Vincent Valentine does not appear to age, his eye colour may have been altered, and there were various other physical and mental changes. Hojo also removed his lower left forearm, and replaced it with a metal claw appendage.

     implications: Hojo somehow managed to place four spirit/demon forms in Valentine, during the experiments. He transforms into these other creatures when angry, and the most notable of these is Chaos. He seems to have relatively little control over Chaos, who appears to be a class A Demon. Each of the four forms has magic abilities, and is physically very strong.
