His aggressive personality ensured he never really got along with the other orphans, and is probably also the reason he was never adopted. Almasy was eventually sent to Balamb GARDEN after being continuously overlooked for adoption, along with one other orphan, Squall Leonhart, who eventually became his rival. |

Almasy was initially one of GARDEN's most promising students, but his inability to follow orders quickly hindered his progress. He was the founder of the 'Disciplinary Committee', a group which enforces GARDEN's rules, with his two friends or posse, Fujin and Raijin. |
