Who: Seifer and Squall [Who else?] Squall gets to abuse Seifer for a change. Seifer is going to be a more balanced personality in this one, but the temper will still be there, just not as much bravado. Seifer can be a nice guy too. It's a change and a challenge. He's always so mean and conceited in all my other fics. Squall is 17, as in the game, and Seifer is slightly older than that, but not by much.

Rent Boy
Part One
By Miss Dincht
The moment Seifer saw the pretty brunette he knew had to have him.
Up until the moment that the beautiful boy walked into his life, it had been just another painfully boring day. They had pretty much finished up for the evening, and in two and a half hours it would be closing time. The tattoo parlor was hardly ever busy on weekdays, and so Seifer, his half - brother Zell, and his friend Irvine had just been watching television, shooting the breeze, and basically fucking around because there hadn't been much else to do. Then he had walked in, and it was like Seifer's world got knocked over, pulled out from under him, and turned upside down.
Pretty, beautiful, gorgeous. None of these words came close to describing just how exquisite he was, and Seifer just stared at the laughing youth, while the world fell away around him and time itself seemed to come to a stand still. Seifer stared at the boy shamelessly, his eyes burning every perfect line and angle of that gorgeous face, every perfect part of that beautiful body into his memory. Seifer unwittingly licked his lips as he stared at the tight leather pants that clung to the boy's slim legs. His pants were so tight they were like a second skin and they hung just above the curve of his slim hips revealing far too much and hardly enough. He was wearing a tight white t - shirt made of some sparkling fabric - the word Boi in big letters across the front of it - the sort of tiny t - shirt one of those pretty - boy club kids wore, and it clung to him so tightly, that Seifer could see the boy's nipples through the flimsy material. Several bracelets hung around his wrists, some black, some silver, and some made of candy, and he was wearing black nail polish. Even had on blue eye - shadow, not to mention the clear gloss on his lips, and Seifer was sure that that was glitter in the young man's dark hair. His friend, a young Asian boy, was dressed similarly, and although he was a good - looking young man, he was no where near as gorgeous as the sable - haired boy with the sumptuous pink lips. The brunette was absolutely perfect, way beyond being just Seifer's type. Physically, he was everything Seifer could have wanted in a young man. A pretty, pretty dream - boy in the flesh.
The youth couldn't help but know that he was being stared at. Seifer was staring at him so hard it was a wonder the boy didn't run from the shop screaming. He turned slightly from the drawings that hung on the walls and smiled coyly at the large blonde as his slender fingers toyed with a lock of messy hair. He licked his lips, his little, pink tongue moving slowly over the plump, bottom lip, then he and his friend looked at each other and laughed before turning around to focus on the drawings once more.
"God, Nida, he's so big." The brunette whispered.
"Yeah, but you like them like that." His friend whispered back.
The boy laughed again and Seifer just stared. Zell and Irvine fell silent when they noticed that Seifer's attentions had been drawn elsewhere. They turned to look at their latest customers. Irvine leaned back on the old swivel chair he was sitting in as he watched the two young men.
"Hey, guys. What's up? What can we do you for?" Irvine said.
The black - haired, Asian young man, Nida, who had come in with the lovely brunette turned from the collection of drawings on the wall and looked at Irvine. "My friend wants a tattoo." He said.
"I think that could be arranged." Irvine said. He got up from the chair and went behind the counter to get some forms. "What the fu - ? Hey, Seifer man, where are the damn forms? I told you guys to put that shit back when you finish with it."
"Aw, shut up, Kinneas. Just look for 'em. They're back there somewhere." Zell said. He pushed Seifer's arm. "Don't even think about it, man. You just got out of a relationship." he whispered.
Seifer didn't say anything, he just continued to stare at the brunette. The young man and his friend were whispering to each other - their shaggy heads so close together they were touching - and looking at Seifer, and laughing. Zell was absolutely right of course, but Seifer didn't give Zell's comment any consideration. A boy like that couldn't be anything but trouble, but Seifer had always had a knack for getting into trouble, especially when it came to matters of love.
"Hey, man, where are the damn forms?" Irvine said.
After several, long moments, Seifer managed to tear his eyes away from the sable - haired youth. He slowly got up from the swivel chair he had been lounging on and moved to join Irvine behind the counter. He riffled through all of the junk they had tossed on the shelves and located the proper forms. "You didn't even look." He said.
"I don't know about all that." Irvine said. "You assholes just need to keep this place clean. What kind of establishment are we running here?"
The brunette boy and his friend laughed and Seifer looked up from the papers in his hand at the object of his lust and affection. The two young men began to whisper amongst themselves again. Nida said something in the brunette's ear and they both laughed loudly. Seifer looked at Irvine. Irvine narrowed his eyes and shook his head. Seifer just smiled stupidly and shrugged. Irvine shook his head again and leaned down on the counter.
Seifer cleared his throat. "Do you know what you want?" he said.
The brunette looked around the shop once more, and then sauntered over to a drawing in one of the large frames. He reached up and pointed to it, his tight shirt riding up his belly as he did so. Seifer unconsciously licked his lips at the sight of all that enticing bare flesh, the flat stomach, and the little "outie" belly button.
"I want this one." He said, his finger on an intricate, detailed design of a large dragon holding a giant moon - like pearl in its clawed hands.
"That's Seifer's design." Irvine said.
Seifer watched as the boy strolled up the counter. The blonde closed his eyes and inhaled the scent of the CK One that the youth was wearing. The brunette grasped the counter with both hands and leaned forward. He was bold, and Seifer couldn't help but like it.
"You drew that?" the youth said.
"Yeah." Seifer said. "Like it?"
The brunette nodded. "I like it a lot." He said. He smiled and his crystal - blue eyes looked down at Seifer's crotch. Seifer's already flaming arousal jumped slightly.
"He wants to get it on his back." Nida said as he sauntered up to the counter. He trailed slim fingers up the brunette's spine and the sable - haired youth moaned softly as he arched his back at the touch. His friend looked at Seifer and grinned.
Squall looked back up into Seifer's eyes and smiled. "Well, actually, I want it on my lower back, right above my bottom." He said, emphasizing the last word.
"Sure." Seifer said, not missing the innuendo. He could have come right then and there. "Um, I just need your ID." He said.
"I don't have one." the brunette said.
"How old are you?" Seifer said.
"Eighteen." He said.
His friend laughed.
He smiled. "Well actually I'll be eighteen very soon. In about a week." He said.
Seifer sighed and wondered why he was finding it so hard to refuse. "I still can't do it." he said, hoping the young man would relent, but knowing he wouldn't.
The brunette pouted and sucked his teeth. "I won't tell anyone." He said.
"Yeah, give him a break. Squall is good at keeping secrets." Nida said.
Squall laughed and his friend smiled. "Yeah, I won't tell." He said. He leaned forward and Seifer looked down at the boy's plump, pouting lips.
"I have to have your ID on file." Seifer said, not taking his eyes from the youth's lips.
"You can make an exception for me, can't you? I can pay you in cash, and give you a little extra if you want." Squall said.
"We need an ID, or either your parent's permission." Irvine said.
The boy laughed. "What parents? I take care of myself." he said.
"Then you're shit out of luck." Irvine said.
Squall sneered slightly and rolled his eyes at the auburn - haired man and then looked back at Seifer. He made a disappointed little whine and pouted. "Please?" Squall said. "I promise I won't tell. Just this once, please?"
Seifer nodded. "Alright." he conceeded.
Irvine mumbled something under his breath and went back over to join Zell.
Squall bit his lip and smiled. "Thanks, honey." He said before leaning forward and placing a lingering kiss on Seifer's lips.
The blonde recovered quickly and raked a hand through his spiky hair before clearing his throat. "You can just go on back." he said.
Squall and Nida laughed as they hurried past the counter and ran through the red curtains that hid the back part of the shop - where all of the actual tattooing was done - from view. Seifer leaned over the counter for several seconds and tried to regain his composure. He couldn't keep his hands from shaking and he had to inhale deeply several times to control his breathing. It had been a long time since anyone had had that kind of effect on Seifer. Not even his ex - boyfriend had had that kind of effect on him, and he had thought he was in love with the guy. Seifer's eyes widened for a moment and a nervous feeling began to grow at the pit of his stomach. He shook his head slightly. No, it couldn't be love. Love at first sight can, and does happen - Seifer knew this better than anyone - and when it does happen it happens hard and fast, but Seifer couldn't believe he was already thinking about love.
"Hey, Seifer, man. What the hell is wrong with you? Are you crazy?" Irvine said.
Seifer looked up at his friend who was now standing directly across from him on the other side of the counter. "What?" Seifer said.
"You know we could all lose our license if you tattoo that kid. Why risk it? Just tell him you can't do it." Irvine said.
"I'll take care of it." Seifer said.
Irvine uttered a sound of disgust and shook his head. He walked off and went to sit back down in the chair. Irvine was absolutely right, of course. Seifer could lose his license, his tattoo parlor, everything he had worked so hard to get, and although he was well aware of it all, although he had always run a reputable establishment, he hadn't been able to refuse the young man. He was also trying to by himself some time, to get an opportunity to talk to the young man. It wasn't as though it was that big of a deal anyway. It was just a tattoo.
Seifer moved from behind the counter and headed for the back room, pushing the curtain back as he walked down the two steps into the spacious area. Nida was sitting in the chair that Irvine used for his customers, and Squall was sitting on the long table that was used if a customer wanted to lie down. He was sitting up on the edge of the physician's type table leaning back on his hands, his legs swinging back and forth. He had already gotten into Zell's jar of candy, and he was sucking on one of the sweets as he and Nida talked animatedly about the tattoo that Squall planned to get. Seifer went over to his station and gathered the stencil, needles, colors, and sterilization items he would need to do the work. Since the table was closest to where Zell usually worked he would work from there and use Zell's tattooing machine.
"Do you want to sit up or do this lying down." Seifer asked as he placed his tools on the desk beside the table and opened a package of fresh needle.
"Lying down of course." Squall said. He grinned. "I should take off my shirt, right?"
Seifer nodded as he took a pair of gloves from the cabinet beneath the desk. As Seifer slipped on the gloves he watched Squall. Squall lifted his shirt and Seifer tried not to be too obvious as he watched Squall's back. The youth was far too thin. Seifer could see his ribs, but his body was still highly attractive, simply because it belonged to him and Seifer wanted him. Squall then jumped up from the table and slid his thumbs beneath the band of his leather pants. "Should I take these off too?" he said.
"Uh, no, you don't have too. Ah, you can just open them." he said.
Squall slowly unbuttoned then unzipped his pants, watching Seifer carefully as he did so. Seifer locked eyes with the smiling young man for several seconds before turning to finish setting up his equipment. Squall jumped back up onto the table and stretched himself along the length of it. He turned onto his stomach and folded his arms beneath his head. Seifer continued to prepare for the work he was about to do as he asked Squall all the usual questions, questions he asked every customer. Squall was slightly offended when Seifer asked if he had ever had any type of disease, but Seifer had only been asking a question he asked everyone. Seifer didn't even give the fact that Squall had been somewhat pissed about that any consideration. Seifer also explained in some detail exactly how the process of tattooing worked. Nida asked if it would be painful. Seifer mentioned that it all depended on how much pain Squall was used to, and both Nida and Squall laughed at that comment. Seifer wondered what was so funny, but didn't ask. It shouldn't have been any business of his anyway, but he couldn't help but want to know everything about Squall, this beautiful, young man that had just walked into his life off of the streets. Seifer already knew he was going to ask the boy out, and then he was going to do everything he could to convince the brunette that they were made for each other. Of course, part of it was physical attraction, but Seifer was now beyond that. There was just something about Squall that made Seifer want to know more about him, to get close to him. No one had ever had such an effect on Seifer, and Seifer couldn't even understand what it was about Squall that made him want the young man so badly.
Once the stencil had been set on Squall's back, Seifer took machine and needle in hand and grabbed a cloth from Zell's station. He closed his eyes and took a moment to relax himself so he could focus on the task at hand. He pulled a stool up to the table and went to work marking the boy's skin with his design. With the very first penetration of the needle, Squall tensed slightly and whimpered softly. Seifer stopped immediately, but then Squall relaxed, and so Seifer continued. He was quiet as he worked, but Squall and Nida talked incessantly about lives and people he knew nothing about, but found himself wanting to know, only because these things were in some way connected to this pretty creature he wanted to call his own. He saw thousands of customers in a year, and heard a million different tales, but never before had he listened so intently to any one conversation. Seifer pretended that he wasn't listening, but he was locked in on virtually every word. Eventually he began to ask questions of the two young men. He usually talked to his customers while he worked, in an effort to keep their mind off of some of the pain, so it wasn't odd that he would try to make conversation. He found himself wanting, needing, to know all about Squall: where he lived, who he was, if he had someone in his life.
"So, is Squall you're real name?" he asked.
"Yeah. It's crazy I know. I mean who would actually name their kid Squall Leonhart?" he said, his voice slightly muffled as he was turned away from Seifer and his face was resting on his arms.
"You have to admit though, it's a perfect stage name." Nida said.
Squall scoffed and laughed. "My dad was such a fucking hippy." he said.
"Stage name?" Seifer said.
"I'm a dancer." Squall said.
"Oh." Seifer said.
Seifer was thinking the boy meant that he was some sort of ballet dancer, but enough strippers had come in to his shop saying that very same thing, and so he should have known better. Then it dawned on him what the young man had meant by that word. Seifer couldn't help but feel deeply disappointed, and even slightly mad. He didn't even know this young man, but the thought of someone as lovely as Squall selling himself short like that made Seifer angry.
"You work at a strip club?" Seifer said.
"Yeah, at Captain Cid's. Just a few blocks from here." he said.
Seifer nodded and sneered slightly. "I've heard of it." he said. He knew that place all too well, and he wondered how Squall could work in such a filthy establishment, but then Seifer had to remind himself that he didn't even know the youth.
"Why don't you come down and see him?" Nida said.
"No thanks." Seifer said.
Squall uttered a sound of astonishment. Then he laughed. "What, I'm not pretty enough for you?" he said. He and Nida both laughed this time. "You like boys, don't you? I saw the way you were looking at me. I figured you liked what you saw."
"It's not that. I'm not really in to strip clubs." Seifer said.
"What too good to come down and see us?" Nida said.
Squall laughed. "Must be. Pshhhhhh. Whatever." he said.
Seifer didn't say anything else. Squall and Nida started up another conversation, and Seifer just focused on his work filling in the black lines of the design perfectly. A little over an hour later, Squall had a large, black dragon, and the glowing moon - pearl it held, tattooed onto the small of his back. When Seifer mentioned that it was all done, Squall jumped up from the table and rushed over to the full - length mirror at the other side of the room. He uttered a noise that sounded something like a squeal when he twisted around and saw the work that Seifer had done. Seifer peeled off his plastic gloves and tossed them in the trash along with the bloodied rag, then reached for the pack of cigarettes that had been tossed onto the table. He lit the cigarette and inhaled of it deeply as he watched the slender brunette bounce about in front of the mirror. Nida was standing with Squall, ogling the design and turning Squall's body in different directions, so he could see the tattoo from every angle.
"God, Squall, that looks so fucking good." Nida said.
Squall grinned beautifully and stood on the tips of his toes as he lifted his arms and angled his body so that he could look down at his back. "Hurts like a bitch though." he said. "When will the redness go away?"
"Hunh?" Seifer said. He had been staring at Squall and hadn't even heard the question.
Squall turned toward him and put his hands on his hips. "When will the redness go away?" he said.
"Oh, in about two or three weeks." Seifer said. "Try to keep it covered and make sure you put this cream on it." He lifted a fresh bottle of medicinal cream from Zell's station and placed it on the table.
"So how much?" Squall said. He sauntered over to the chair where he had tossed his shirt.
For two hours work and a tattoo of that intricacy, with so many heavy, black lines, the detailed shading, and that used that much ink, Seifer calculated that Squall owed him about 200 dollars.
"Fifty." he said.
Squall grinned as he pulled a huge wad of money from his pant pocket. "You're giving me a deal? How sweet. I'll have to remember that." he said.
Nida chuckled and grinned at Seifer. Squall removed one fifty dollar bill from the thick wad and held it out to the blonde. Seifer took the bill and slipped it into his pocket. Squall pulled his shirt on over his head, careful not to let the fabric touch his new tattoo, but the shirt was already so short that he didn't even need to worry about it. He picked up the small bottle of medicine from the table and slipped it into his pocket.
"Aren't you going to tip him?" Nida asked.
Squall laughed. "No. Why should I?" he said. He sneered slightly at Seifer and turned to leave.
Nida just laughed and followed his friend through the curtain and into the front of the shop. Seifer just sat there, stunned for several seconds, but then he got up and dashed after the two young men. Zell and Irvine were cleaning up since they would be closing soon, but they both looked up as Seifer ran past them. Seifer ran out the door, almost falling down and breaking his arm when the door swung back, and looked around for the two young men. They had already reached the corner, and they were standing there, arm in arm, waiting for the traffic to clear so they could get across the street. Neither of the boys had noticed that Seifer was coming toward them, but Squall suddenly dashed off of the curb and ran through the traffic, pulling Nida with him. They were nearly struck down several times as cars came whizzing by, but the two young men just laughed loudly while certain angry drivers called them a few unsavory names. Seifer hurried across the street when the traffic cleared some and caught up with the two young men. He grabbed Squall's arm and the brunette turned on him violently. Squall sneered and snatched his arm from Seifer grasp. He shifted his weight to one foot, one bony hip jutting out, and folded his arms over his chest. He looked Seifer up and down and sneered again. "I already paid you." he said.
Seifer closed his eyes and took a moment to catch his breath. "That's not what I wanted to talk to you about." he said.
"Then what do you want?" Squall said.
Nida laughed. Seifer looked at the black - haired boy, his eyes narrowed, and Nida stopped laughing though a smile still curved his lips.
"I just wanted to talk to you." Seifer said.
Squall frowned. "What about?" he said.
Seifer just stared at the young man. The glow of the bright neon signs cast a blue glow to Squall's pale skin, making him appear even more ethereal, even more beautiful, it that were at all possible. He was an angel. Too fine, too sweet to be real, and Seifer just gawked like a fool. Nida looked at Squall and grinned. The brunette looked heavenward and then rolled his eyes.
"Ah, I think I'll wait over here." Nida said before walking off to stand next to one of the lamp posts.
"Well, what is it? What do you want?" Squall said. "I have to get back to work."
Seifer put his hands in his pocket and cleared his throat. He felt so pathetic. He didn't even know how to act or what to say, and he always had something to say. "I was wondering if maybe you would like to go out some time." he said.
The brunette stared at him for several seconds and didn't say anything. At least he hadn't laughed or turned away in disgust, but Seifer was still weary of the look of confusion on Squall's face. Then Squall recovered, and it was almost as though the look of bewilderment that Seifer had seen on his face had never been there. "You want a fuck, right? Well, I have to go back to work right now, but I can meet you somewhere later. There's a nice hotel just up the street from Cid's. I can meet you there." he said.
Seifer looked baffled. He wasn't understanding what Squall was saying. All he needed was a yes or no answer, although no was an option he wouldn't be willing to easily accept. "What's that?" he said.
Squall sighed. "I can give you what you want, but no kissing, and it costs money, but you're a businessman, you know that." Squall said.
Seifer blinked and his brow furrowed. "No." he said. "That's not what I meant."
"What did you mean?" Squall said. His tone slightly harsh.
"I meant a date." Seifer said. "You know, two people get together. Maybe go to a movie, get some coffee - "
Squall scoffed and looked at him again with that odd look. "Y - You're asking me out?" Squall said finally, a hint of disbelief in his voice.
Seifer smiled and nodded. "Yeah, why not? Maybe you could come see us play. My brother and I have a band. Nothing special. We just fuck around some on the weekend at this spot we hang out at." he said.
Squall was silent. His heavily made - up eyelids lowered and he chewed on his bottom lip.
"I don't go out on dates." Squall said. He looked at Seifer as though the blonde was some sort of twisted psycho. "At least not that kind. C'mon, Nida, we have to go." He turned, walked over to Nida and grabbed the black - haired boy's hand.
Seifer reached out and grabbed Squall by the arm. "Could you just wait a minute? Just give me a minute." he said.
Squall uttered a sound of disgust. He turned away and refused to look at the blonde.
"Don't you get it? He doesn't want to talk to you." Nida said.
Seifer glared at the other boy. "This isn't any of your fucking business." he said. He was getting angry, something that didn't happen too often, but Seifer was a totally different person when he was angry.
Nida cursed and tried to pull Squall away. Seifer grabbed Squall's arm roughly, not intending to hurt the smaller man, but rather doing it out of need and desperation. "OW! Get off me, Motherfucker! You're hurting me!" Squall yelled.
Seifer immediately let go. Squall turned and glared at him.
Seifer sighed heavily. "Look, I just want to see you again." he said.
Squall sighed in exasperation. "You can see me anytime you want. Just come down to Cid's. Now I have to go, okay?" he said.
"Look, just take my number, or come see me. I'm in the shop all day, every day. Name's Seifer." he said.
Squall sneered slightly. He glared angrily at the blonde. "Did I even ask you your fucking name?" he said before he turned and ran off, arm in arm with his friend, the two yelling and laughing as they went.
Seifer just watched the boy leave and wondered why he always had to fall for the pretty ones with the fangs, and why this time he had to fall so fucking hard and so fucking fast.
